Delivering Critical Medical Aid Since 2022
Within days of the February 2022 invasion, The Paul Chester Children’s Hope Foundation mobilized to support hospitals across Ukraine facing an overwhelming need for critical medical supplies and equipment.
Working directly with hospitals, physicians, and trusted partners on the ground, PCCHF identified urgent needs and helped deliver essential medical resources for operating rooms, intensive care units, orthopedic surgery, anesthesia, trauma care, and other critical areas.
As Ukraine’s highly skilled medical professionals faced an extraordinary volume of casualties and increasing demands on hospital resources, PCCHF mobilized its network of medical partners, donors, volunteers, and humanitarian organizations to help provide the equipment and supplies needed to deliver lifesaving care.
More Than $72 Million in In-Kind Medical Aid
Since March 2022, PCCHF has facilitated and delivered more than $72 million in donated medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and medical teams throughout Ukraine.
Medical aid has included:
80 wound VAC systems
200 external fixator kits
SonoQue ultrasound systems
2 C-arms
Ventilators and respiratory equipment
Anesthesia equipment
Orthopedic and surgical supplies
Operating room and intensive care supplies
Additional critical medical equipment and consumables
Hundreds of pallets of medical supplies and equipment have been transported by air and in 40-foot shipping containers, reaching both civilian and military hospitals across Ukraine.
PCCHF’s medical aid has been distributed to hospitals and medical teams in Lviv, Rivne, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Mukachevo, Kherson, Lutsk, and other communities throughout Ukraine.
By maintaining direct communication with physicians and partners on the ground, PCCHF is able to respond to identified needs and provide the specific medical equipment and supplies requested by healthcare professionals.
These partnerships have enabled PCCHF to mobilize significant quantities of donated medical equipment and supplies and help get critical resources into the hands of healthcare professionals treating patients throughout Ukraine.

Kind Deeds - New York City
On March 21, 2023, Nastassja Many and Oksana Pidhoreckyj of PCCHF, hosted a fundraising event to support Kind Deeds, an organization providing free, state-of-the-art prosthetics to Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Russia’s ongoing invasion. This event expanded PCCHF’s mission of delivering critical medical aid to Ukraine by supporting soldiers undergoing rehabilitation in New York. The evening brought together compassionate supporters from France, Belgium, and Ukraine, all united in solidarity. Guests were deeply moved by the soldiers’ stories, emphasizing the urgent need for continued humanitarian efforts. The event was a great success, raising essential funds to help those affected by the war.
Continuing Our Commitment to Ukraine
More than four years after the invasion began, Ukraine’s healthcare system continues to face significant and evolving needs.
PCCHF remains committed to working alongside Ukrainian hospitals, physicians, donors, and humanitarian partners to provide critical medical equipment and supplies where they are needed most.
Every contribution designated for Ukraine directly supports PCCHF’s ongoing efforts in Ukraine.
Recognition
2024 — The Paul Chester Children’s Hope Foundation received the Order of St. Panteleimon Ukrainian Medical Award for Professionalism and Mercy from the Foreign Council recognizing the Foundation’s humanitarian medical support for Ukraine.
2025 —Dr. William “Bill” Chester, PCCHF Co-Founder and Medical Director, received the Foreign Council’s highest recognition for outstanding service in healthcare, medical science, and humanitarian work, including his role in delivering critical medical aid to hospitals and civilians in Ukraine.
